At The Speech Tree, we take a whole-child approach, allowing families to receive all of the services they need under one roof. Our multidisciplinary center offers access to ABA therapy, speech and language therapy, feeding therapy, as well as physical and occupational therapy. We aim to provide the best quality services to children by utilizing a hands off, child led, and naturalistic teaching approach to ABA Therapy. Board Certified Behavior Analysts and ABA Therapists/RBTs

ABA Therapist Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Applied behavior analysis: 1 year

  • Registered Behavior Technician (preferred)

  • 1+ years experience working with children and adults on the autism spectrum (ASD)

  • Ability to work both at the center and in client homes

  • After school/evening availability

  • Strong understanding of the basic principles of applied behavioral analysis (ABA)

  • Access to reliable transportation

  • Commitment to working a flexible schedule

BCBA Requirements

  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education, social work, public health counseling, or related field

  • Active BCBA certification

  • 2+ years of BCBA experience (preferred)

  • Complete 8 hour supervisor training

  • Strong applied knowledge of ABA techniques and data collection

  • Ability to lead and instruct behavior therapists

  • Engage in professional and ethical behavior at all times

  • Possess a driver’s license

ABA Therapist Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioral therapy strategies identified in treatment plan provided by BCBA

  • Record data on behaviors every session

  • Complete formal treatment notes after each therapy session to comply with documentation requirements

  • Work independently with children and families

BCBA Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments using a variety of means including, but not limited to: ABLLS, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, QABF, MAS, and/or FAST.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive and individualized positive behavior support plans and strategies (PBSP, PBIP)

  • Assess, develop, and implement skills acquisition and social skills programming

  • Create data collection systems to track intervention efficacy

  • Provide ABA therapy services as recommended

  • Provide instruction and leadership to ABA therapists/RBTs

  • Provide consultation and training for parents, caregivers, teachers, etc.

  • Work collaboratively with our team of Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists

Location & Hours
  • Part-time and full-time positions available

  • Flexible schedule options, from Monday-Saturday

  • In-center locations: Morganville, Monroe, and Princeton, New Jersey

  • In-home locations: Monmouth, Mercer, and Middlesex counties, and surrounding areas

  • ABA Therapists: Increased hourly rate after 90 days with the company and qualifying performance review
